INTRODUCTION: Used for determination of calorific value of liquid and Solid fuels.
The apparatus consists of the following accessories.
  1. Bomb of approximate internal volume 300 cc made of 18/8 quality stainless steel.
  2. Calorimeter vessel made of copper & highly chromium plated.
  3. Water jacket made of copper and chromium plated.
  4. Stirrer driven with motor.
  5. Firing unit showing the voltage & fitted with a point for the stirrer.
  6. Oxygen pressure gauge on a stand with fine adjustment cock & copper pipes to connect the oxygen cylinder & the bomb.
  7. Digital Thermometer of 0-50 deg C with 0.01 deg C resolution.
  8. A stainless steel crucible of specified dimensions.
  9. Nichrome wire 44 swg. -
  10. 2 metersPellet press making solid pellets
  11. bomb head support and spanners etc.
Complete as above The user should have Electronic or single pan with 0.1 mg sensitivity weighing balance, Oxygen Gas cylinder and other relevant Laboratory tools, Instruments and chemicals for the complete demonstration of the item.
