The Machine is used for quick and clean cutting of metallurgical of metallurgical specimen from rod, tubes or other irregular shapes and small pieces of rocks and minerals by using appropriate diamond impregnated cutting wheels. A chop stroke type midget table model suitable for using wheels upto 10" dia. It has a cutting capacity of 2.5" to 2.75" dia round or square stocks. The basic arrangement is of see-saw arm spindle.
SPECIFICATION:
  1. Powered by 2 H.P. 3 Phase 440 Volts AC, T.E.F.C. Electric Motor, 2800 RPM.
  2. Heavy Duty Spindle is fitted in Ball Bearings & Driven by 'V' Belts and Pulleys.
  3. Both the Abrasive Wheel and Belts are covered with protective guards.
  4. Vice is provided on the job platform for holding the jobs. The platform position is adjustable to accommodate job of odd shapes.
  5. The cavity of machine frame and a tank under the platform acts as a coolant storage and is convered by a sieve filter.
Coolant is delivered by a small pump driven off from the tank. The angle of coolant nozzle is adjustable for optimum position.
